My cookies are about to get even more special— thanks to my special helper
He has a love for culinary arts just as much as I do. In fact, he’s ABL Cookies’ official taste tester. I run all new recipes by him and he samples each batch to tell me if I’m on the right track, or on one.
Anyway, as we strive as a couple to be cleaner eaters and more connected to our food and where it comes from, we have taken on a lot of steps to create some things at home. For instance, the orange essence I use in my orange infused double chocolate chip cookies is brewed at home with fresh oranges and Everclear. My vanilla is made with fresh vanilla beans.
Now, we’ve moved onto the butter.
All cookies will now be made with pasteurized fresh cream butter, churned in our kitchen.
Damn straight. FRESH BUTTER.
Because my customers are worth it.
P.S. YAY for amazing wedding gifts YEARS later….
Springtime means COOKIES!!!!
Hello dear customers! I’m running another buy one get one half off special for my cookies. Between now and Father’s Day, if you buy one package of cookies from me at full price, you get your second one at half price!
Can’t beat that!
And I make good cookies. Ask about me.
I’ll be reblogging the menu soon.
So, order and enjoy!
P.S. All the proceeds from the cookies are going toward something very special… you’ll be helping us achieve a dream. A difficult to attain one
Day… Something or another. (Look, all of my days are running together, ok?)
Love in a box.
I’ll say it again. Love. In. A. Box.
My co-blogger and great friend Christina A.K.A. Str8NoChaser sent me some baked cookies. And they are GOOD. REALLY GOOD.
I needed this. Something fierce. Thank you, my dear friend.
You’re so very welcome. I’m glad you like them.
How it all began……
If you’ve gotten cookies from me and posted about them, can you tag the posts #ablcookies, #str8nochaser?
I need the testimonials…for reasons.
So you may or may not be aware that there are many things in the works over coming weeks and months with ABL Baking Company/ABL Cookies.
One thing I want to tell you is that, sadly, due to the United States Postal Service being unable to keep up with the times… shipping costs are going up.
Since I started this, I’ve been giving my customers a break on the price of shipping, as a thank you for being a customer.
In the past, shipping for a single bag of cookies was $5, when the true cost was $5.35. Shipping for 2-6 bags was $10, when the true cost was $11.65.
Currently, the new pricing is forcing me to raise the amount I charge for shipping.. The price break will continue, but sadly, I have to raise the flat rate of shipping to accommodate the new rates.
Single bags will now cost $5.50 to ship (still a 30 cent break on the USPS price of $5.80) and 2-6 bags will cost $11 (still a $1.35 break on the USPS price of $12.35).
Thanks for being understanding.
